eBridge vs SideArm
Trigger position flexibility anywhere across the drums diameter = eBridge? VS. Trigger position fixed near shell edge = SideArm?
Comparison (over-simplified):
SideArm is a simpler internal, side-shell mounted trigger system, positioning the piezo/cone roughly 2” away from the shell. Mounts to your choice of a single lug positioned around the drum & connect the trigger harness to a panel mount 1/4” jack.
eBridge, our Flagship product, is an internal cross-bridge trigger system that mounts to opposing lugs of your choice (not applicable for small diameter drums with an odd-number lug count) and the trigger platform can be positioned anywhere on the bridge diameter. Arrives centered, but you can easily reposition the trigger platform off-center or nearer the shell, to either side of drum center. Once positioned, connect the trigger harness to a panel mount 1/4” jack. Bass drum eBridge’s include a 5” diameter memory foam beater-pillow for dampening control.
Ideal for:
SideArm is ideal for 6”, 8”, 10” & 12” toms and required for smaller tom’s with odd-lug counts. Can be used on larger diameter drums knowing that large diameter drums slightly lose triggering dynamics. Not recommended for use on a bass drum - go with a bass drum eBridge.
eBridge is ideal for snares, 8” - 18” toms and 14” - 24” bass drums - all drums must have an even-lug count. Use a SideArm for a 6” tom. 15” and drum diameters beyond what is listed are built by special request.
